♥ October Glambox MiddleEast 2015 – Review ♥

What’s up guys? Today I am presenting to you the Glambox I received for the month of October. Let’s dig in:

Vita Coco Natural Cococnut Water

I loved this drink to bits. It was very refreshing and took me back to kerala. Not many packeted coconut waters really taste so natural, but this was different. You guys should definitely give this a try! I specially loved their packaging with funny little messages.

Labello Fruity Shine in Watermelon

This balm has a lovely melony scent which doesnt linger on after application. The light hint of crimson color and shine makes your lip appear plump and healthy. It smoothens and softens the lips. You can use it alone without any other lip product and look glam. The only downside I see is that it does not conatin SPF.

Yardley London Perfume samples in ‘English Rose’ and ‘Jasmine’

I have been seeing these in the drugstores for quiet sometime now but since I mostly prefer perfume oils or perfumes very very low in alchohol, I did not really buy these. They have exactly the scent they claim to be. The scent is very subtle and long lasting. The alchohol effect is not over powering. I know most drugstore perfumes have such high alchohol content that it paralyzes your brain! Glad this one is not like that. I might consider buying a full size.

Nivea Anti-Perspirant Powder Touch Deo

I don’t use a deodrant. I feel I might be sounding like a very boring person now, but I have been trying to be careful about what I use on my body now a days. Deos (especially anti perspirant ones) have been found to have harmful chemicals that can block skin pores from sweating, this in turn said to hinter the functioning of sweat glands and lymphatic system. All these hinterance have been linked to cancer, tumour and what not. Many brands claim to not cause harm and stuff but I am really nervous to give in.

The scent of this deo is very pleasant and calming. I tried using it above the clothes but it leaves this white powdery residue. So I have been trying to find other uses with it like air freshner and stuff.

Derma C Antioxidant Natural Sunscreen SPF 30

This brand claims to be natural, 100% vegan, cruelty and paraben-free. I as very eager to try this goodie out. The cream is white in color and has no scent. It blends matte into the skin. You need to work with it quickly or else it would with patchy appearance. It does not feel heavy or oily on skin. It really liked this one.

VLCC Liquorice & Fenugreek Natural Fairness Face Mask

I really loved the scent of this mask. Its got some really nice ingredients – fenugreek, liquorice, jojoba oil, olive oil and vitamin E.

It had this spicy woody scent to it from the liquorice. Fenugreek is used as dandruff and softening treatments for hair and skin. The mask had a yellow tint and was very smooth and creamy. It dries to a matte film and is washed off easily.

My skin felt smooth and soft after wash. The spice scent lingers on. I can’t say much about fairness since I believe no product is going to change your natural shade.
